	&lt;p&gt;Superstar English Language &amp; Institute of Computer Science for Learning offers a variety of programs to suit the needs of people for whom English is a second language.  Following is a brief description of these programs.&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;LANGUAGE SKILLS&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;
           &lt;strong&gt;Aim: &lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt; to develop the skills necessary to speak and understand the English language using an oral program that presents a set of related language concepts and skills including description of objects, actions, instructional words, classification, information, and applications. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;   &lt;strong&gt;SPEAKING/LISTENING SKILLS&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;     &lt;strong&gt;Aim:  &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt; to improve students' comprehension of spoken English, and to help students participate more effectively in formal and informal conversations with native English speakers. &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;READING SKILLS&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Aim :  &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt; to read and grasp the essential meaning of a range of print material&lt;br&gt;
 to paraphrase or summarize key points&lt;br&gt;
 to develop a better understanding of Canadian culture through reading&lt;br&gt;
 to develop improved reading skills to include the following:  understanding meaning&lt;br&gt;
 identifying the main idea&lt;br&gt;
 identifying important and relevant information&lt;br&gt;
 understanding inferences&lt;br&gt;
 skimming, scanning, and researching &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt; &lt;u&gt;&lt;strong&gt;WRITING SKILLS&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/u&gt;Aim:  &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt; to improve writing skills in personal and educational contexts such as  writing reports and personal letters&lt;br&gt;
 summarizing&lt;br&gt;
 writing essays&lt;br&gt;
 organizing and completing projects&lt;br&gt;
